BREAKING NEWS - Can It Be True? Facebook & Zuck No Longer Woke?

Can it really be true? I’m obviously very skeptical, but I am interested in your thoughts.

Mark Zuckerberg has recently announced a series of significant changes at Meta, which operates platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, signaling a shift towards what some might describe as "non-woke" policies. Here’s a summary based on the latest information:

• Fact-Checking Overhaul: Zuckerberg has decided to end Meta's third-party fact-checking program, describing it as "too politically biased" and arguing that it has "destroyed more trust than it's created." Instead, Meta plans to implement a "community notes" system, similar to X's approach, where users can add context or corrections to posts. This move is seen as an effort to promote free speech, especially in the wake of the U.S. elections, which Zuckerberg referred to as a "cultural tipping point towards prioritizing speech."

• Content Moderation Changes: Alongside the cessation of fact-checking, Meta is adjusting its content moderation policies to reduce censorship. This includes relaxing rules around political and controversial topics like immigration and gender, and moving content review teams from California to Texas to allegedly minimize bias. Zuckerberg acknowledged this would mean catching "less bad stuff" but aims to reduce mistakes and over-enforcement of content policies.

• Dana White's Appointment: In a move perceived as aligning with conservative figures, Zuckerberg announced that UFC President Dana White, a known Trump supporter, has been appointed to Meta's board of directors. This appointment, along with other recent changes, is seen as an effort to improve relations with the incoming Trump administration and to cater to a more conservative audience.

Some see them as a move towards less stringent content control, potentially leading to more misinformation, while others view it as a return to core free speech principles. Public reactions on platforms like X show a mixed response, with some celebrating the changes as a victory for free speech, while others express concern over the implications for misinformation and the platform's role in public discourse.

These shifts reflect a broader strategy by Zuckerberg to navigate political and cultural landscapes, particularly in the context of an incoming administration seen as favoring less regulation on tech platforms.

MY HEALTH - My Cancer Diagnosis. Faith Over Fear

I pray that by me sharing my story and my journey, I will be able to help at least one other person who is also going through this journey of fighting cancer. I WILL WIN - I am confident in that. I have GODfidence.

I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in October of 2024. Instead of just relying on traditional treatments, I chose a holistic path. My holistic practitioner has put together a detailed 27-page healing plan to tackle this head-on:

• Faith: I've leaned heavily on my faith, believing it's crucial in this fight. It's more than just a physical battle; it's spiritual, too.

• Diet and Supplements: I've completely revamped my diet, making it robust and full of cancer-fighting foods and supplements. My aim is to transform my body from one that produces cancer to one that destroys it.

• Various Natural Cancer Tools: Ivermectin, Nebulizer, Suppositories, Liver cleanses, detox baths, grounding, rife frequencies, and on and on…

• Boldness and Change with Godfidence: Facing this mountain of cancer required me to be bold, obedient, and open to personal transformation. It's not just about surviving; it's about thriving and changing for the better.

I've also used my journey to encourage others. I often ask, "What's your mountain? Let's conquer it," hoping to inspire a community effort in overcoming personal health challenges. I've shown support for others in similar fights, like Dr. Makis, because we're all in this together.

As for how things have turned out, I've declared victory over melanoma, but my journey is about more than just the outcome. It's about the approach – mixing conventional wisdom with alternative methods, all underpinned by mental and spiritual strength. This story isn't just mine; it's for anyone who needs to find their own path to health and healing.

A meditation on Mark 8:11 - "The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him."

My dear friends, how often we come to God as the Pharisees did – not seeking Him, but seeking proof of Him. We want the spectacular when He has already given us the sufficient. Consider how these religious leaders stood before the very bread of life, yet demanded heaven's bakery ticket! They had seen His miracles, witnessed His wisdom, yet their hearts remained shuttered against the light.

The profound irony here is that they sought a sign while standing in the presence of the greatest sign ever given. It's like demanding a letter of introduction from someone already sitting at your dinner table. The Pharisees' demand reveals not a genuine desire for truth, but a heart hardened by spiritual pride.

But before we judge too harshly, let us look within. How many times have we too said, "Lord, if you'll just show me a sign..." while ignoring His daily bread of provision? How often have we sought the spectacular while missing the sacred in our ordinary moments?

The Lord sighs at such demands – not in anger, but in deep spiritual grief. He knows that no sign will convince a heart that has already chosen not to see. Faith does not come by signs and wonders, but by submitting our hearts to the truth already revealed.

Let us today choose a different path. Instead of demanding heaven's credentials, let us simply come with open hearts to recognize Him who is already here, already working, already revealing Himself in the quiet corners of our daily lives.

For the greatest sign has already been given – not in spectacular displays that compel belief, but in the humble, persistent presence of a God who walks beside us, even when we're too busy looking at the sky to notice Him at our side.
